The wheel of the astrological year is winding to a close with Pisces. The most convoluted sign in my opinion, since it is charged with carrying characteristics of all the other 11. Ruled by Neptune, themes around your spiritual journey, completion, illusions and dreams could be pushed to the surface for us. Take care of personal items and prioritizing rest. You will be sleepier and called to the unconscious realm to channel and recover more often right now. It can cause forgetfulness and fogginess so do take steps to prepare for that. ☁️
Recognize what is our collective responsibility in the face of evil and violence. Recognize what in your day to day doesn’t need to be held on to so tightly. How are you blocking your own spiritual growth? An uncomfortable question, but a necessary one. 📝 👁️ 🧿
I’d lean into dream journaling, spiritual baths, and water magic right now. Especially on Moon Days (Mondays) to align more naturally with planetary movements. 🌙 💧
On the flip side, embracing your delusions and fantasies can be a gift at times. Venus is in Aquarius ♒️
A little musing I did on my Venus return 💗
I think it’s hilarious this is my placement when ♒️ being ruled by the 11th house can mean being involved with cults and I considering I was raised in one that checks out.
My teen years I became highly depressed and my social anxiety after years of monitoring left me frazzled beyond belief. So I joined Tumblr. From 2008-2015 which I would consider Tumblrs hey day, I was on there. I found my first college roommate and a decade later I attended her wedding. I met others I would have never run into on campus from tumblr I am friends with to this day. I lost myself in the world of message boards and fanfiction. My imagination was crazy, but tumblr catapulted it into oblivion. I enjoyed knowing I had an inner world most people wouldn’t dream of, but here’s the thing: Your mind can control you too much.
I love the innovation and uniqueness that my Aquarius placements give me. I’m fluid gender wise, sexually and in my relationships. It influences my writing, my music taste and choices, my aesthetics and how I give and receive pleasure and the longevity of my relationships.
But the shadow side is avoiding participating in love and intimacy in all forms viscerally in real time. When the imagination and mind always wins and the world is so scary, why would you be present?
When adults dictated your body, desires, clothing and behavior for 26 years, how do you wake up when you were asleep to survive? When you used your brilliant gift of mind control and escape to hide from what was happening to you? When it wasn’t safe to express desire or pleasure?
You get a hologram.
With Pisces season about to roll in, I am interested to see how this Neptune energy removes the illusions of entrapment I put on myself, but also the real dangers of real present love and connection. Just because it’s dangerous doesn’t mean it’s something to avoid.
