As we now know, Valentine’s Day is rooted in capitalism and not any truth at all.

Many of us have complicated understandings/feelings about our relationships that demonstrate love in it’s various forms…or the lack of it. This past year tested my idea of unconditional love unlike any other.

Some Questions I have been asking Myself:

Where does love and respect for myself begin when my family has given and taken away so much? What do those boundaries look like?

How much love can I give in new ways that make me uncomfortable, but challenge growth?

I am a fluid Being, but how do I allow my own experiences of love to be fluid as well?

Don’t get me started on loving my Body. Gender Dysmorphia is alive and well and spoiler alert: It’s a royal asswipe.
