An oldie I wrote back in early 2020…madly in love with a Pisces lol. They capture my attention because I never fully understand them. I’ve dated several Pisces Sun/Venus combos and attract them as friends often. Who is your favorite Pisces person?
Books are closed for the month and all I feel is….relief. I love reading don’t get me wrong, but I definitely needed this break more than I realized. I am open to possibility and to learning because I have the space for it.
One of the spaces I’m making room for again in my life is sound healing. I went live this last Sunday with my bowls and some meditation. If you missed it and need some clearing, the replay is
Rent is due……on a New Moon no less. With the world collapsing it feels insane to even have to worry about this right now. I only made it by the skin of my teeth this time around. To those who helped, seriously thank you. I have a feeling moving into the next few years community care is going to become a new standard and I fully support it. If you need a cheap comfort meal here’s my girlfriends bussin ramen recipe:
New Moon Witch Tips:
Cinnamon is your friend. Sprinkle it on some candles!
Write your intention or wish on a bay leaf or piece of paper and burn over a candle.
Why Bay leaves? Powerful in every practice, they burn extra fast which helps accelerate the energy behind what you want to put in motion.
As a choral musician, I gig regularly during the Liturgical Calendar Year. I wrote this in 2019 during the depths of my deconstruction. I was very resentful serving in the church still closeted at that time. This year, it will feel very different serving in an affirming church, but I still love this and hope it speaks to you.
Weekly Recs:
Where Should We Begin? a podcast by Esther Perel. My cousin described this to me as mini-therapy sessions for free (if you don’t count my spotify description haha)
She was NOT kidding. It’s been turning my relationship communication upside down in a GOOD way and is so beautiful to listen to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE I KNOW.
Dodie Clark - I saw Dodie live at The Fillmore in Philly last week. Dodie has a Pisces Venus (ironically, so did my first gf at the time who showed her to me.) Dodie’s instrumentals are lush with many little details, her lyrics are quirky in the best way while getting straight to the point of why this feeling HURTS. She’s whimsy and bi and always makes me cry. (hehe)
Happy New Moon…make a wish beyond your usual wishes. Allow yourself to dream.
