Buckle the fuck up its Eclipse SZN
So me showing a way to use tarot in conflict remediation might come in useful....:P

Hey besties,
If you’re a fixed rising sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius) you may be feeling a little bit like this. Our first eclipse is a partial one during the New Moon and it will be lighter than the others. Here’s some msgs for this eclipse week I pulled for the collective on Twitter: Mutable Risings Cardinal Risings Fixed Risings
Every Week I go live on Sundays at 8PM EST for Sound Healing on my Instagram
Tried to do a sound bowl live and well….my Crown Chakra bowl broke. A crystal ball I had rolled off the couch onto it. YAYYYYY. I still have the Heart Chakra bowl though and other little instruments. Here’s hoping I can invest in more bowls soon. It was a potent reminder of Eclipse season: The people, places, ideas and relationships that are no longer serving us will be FORCIBLY removed. Let it break.
Sometimes, tarot helps me connect not just to myself but to my loved ones. Recently, I was decompressing in a yoga flow and I got a sudden urge to use my new Dragon’s Egg crystal. Dragon’s Egg is useful to balance the Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras, open psychic abilities, etc. I laid face down with the egg on my lower back and took deep breaths. In that stillness, all the emotions came to the surface. Some of them, I couldn’t explain…I just knew I had to let go. Feelings can be like that sometimes, they don’t always need analyzation.
Afterwards, I was sensing my partner had some swirling emotions of her own. Instead of demanding an answer to soothe my own anxiety, I walked up to her with my oracle deck. “Would you pull me some cards? I could use some clarity right now.” She agreed, and we pulled for each other. Here is what she got for me:
Focus, Speak your Truth, Spiritual Knowledge. All topics that had been heavy on my heart and mind the last few days. Her cards helped her give voice to her needs and feelings in the moment. It was a great way for us to both work out our own emotions and not project them on each other in the moment. Highly recommend trying!
Last weekend, I went to Philly Punk Rock Flea Market and copped some goodies:
I’m dying to book someone for a collage reading with some of the new items I picked up.
So…if you show you are a subscriber of this newsletter, I will knock $8.00 off of a collage reading!!
This is normally $65 plus shipping. Link in my bio to book.
Recs of the Week:
Get some good brie-type cheese and blueberry jam and put it on a ritz cracker. You’re WELCOME. Share with a friend (or don’t).
In our Mother’s Gardens: Watch on Netflix
“I write all the things I should have been able to read.”
― Alice Walker, In Search of Our Mothers' Gardens: Womanist Prose
Ologies Podcast: Attention-Deficit Neuropsychology (ADHD) Pt. 1
“Volcanoes. Trees. Drunk butterflies. Mars missions. Slug sex. Death. Beauty standards. Anxiety busters. Beer science. Bee drama.”
I love Alice Ward’s Podcast to learn lots of cool random things, but this two parter had me crying. If you’re neurodivergent or think you might be, this is an incredibly helpful resource. I felt so seen.
Until next week - Cat
