The leaves are turning one and I guess I am too! My summer was spent apartment hunting, grappling with my career and the lack of ROI and trying to streamline my life and finances. A transition is in the air.
I’m moving into a much better home for me and my family, and while there were many let downs getting there, the end result was a strong reminder of what happens when I surrender my attachment to results and trust that something better is waiting for me.
Rewiring my thought patterns to not just know I deserve more, but feel it in my body and believe it. Working really fucking hard to not lie down and give up at the state of the world and the evil in it. Recognizing more than ever how thankful and amazed I am at how I am protected and loved by my people and by my guides.
Recently I wrote:
“I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing with my life, but I do know I want to invest in myself at a higher level and commit to my creativity in a way I never have before. Even if I’m unsure what that looks like yet.”
Someone told me our mental capital is so much more valuable than our financial/physical assets. It is an endless resource no one can take away from us. That one stuck with me so here I am…back at the batting plate shooting some writing out of the park because I can and because I should.

Instagram and Tik Tok being the twits they are, disliked my call out of AI which is just as well because it pushed me back to this platform. I work with AI regularly at my job on behalf of clients for automation of repetitive tasks, research, a ball to bounce ideas, but with it’s impact on our environment and the many ways it can be abused, I am particular with what/how/when I use it and for what purpose in my own personal life. Like any other tool, it can be used for good or for ill, so please keep that in mind as you read:
Intuition vs Robots: Why we should avoid using AI for “channeled” Tarot Readings.
Recently, my algorithm was inundated with spiritual workers and consumers alike sharing prompts to utilize ChatGPT for spiritual work. Videos with titles like “Manifest your Dream Life Using Chat GPT” can be useful when needing help with visualization for manifestations, prompts for journaling and tarot work and more.
I don’t find an issue with this, in fact I’ve played around with it myself and found it useful from time to time. What I wasn’t prepared for were the consumer videos discussing how they used AI for a tarot reading and reviewing their experience. The comments of these videos often revealed others who were using ai for this on a regular basis and I was like….bro. No I can’t be silent on this one y’all pissed me OFF.
I want you to consider these questions:
- Where is Info Being Sourced?
Does it cite and give references? Or, are they taking knowledge from hard working readers who are not getting compensated or even a follow from it? Can you trust this info without knowing the background and ethics Ai is pulling from?
* I prefer PerplexityAI btw because they cite all that they pull on anything so you can go read it for yourself.
- Tarot is a Skill and Art.
Part of the experience of going directly to a reader is you’re supporting small business AND getting a unique energy and spin you won’t get with ai. When you use ai for this you cut out the spiritual worker. Do you really think your guides/ancestors fuck with that?
- How Does a Robot That You Personally Primed to Say/Do What You Want Connect You to Your Body, Intuition and Spirit?
What about that is “intuitive” when it’s programmed? What about that pushes you to grow and maybe hear wisdom that you NEED not just want? What about that connects you to your body, the room, the energy in front/and around you?
Nothing. You’re staring eyes glazed at a screen which we do too much of already.
- Tarot is a Sensory Experience.
Whether it’s someone else reading for you, or you engaging with the cards and artistry yourself…why would you want to lose that? AI is doing the work that only a human can do.
And you aren’t.
You owe it to yourself to seek the answers and not ask for regurgitated buzz words served to you on a platter.
I encourage you to dive deep into WHY you want to use AI to give you a reading. What are you trying to bypass? What are you hoping it will accomplish?
Because at the end of the day…it’s a fucking ROBOT.
